Equipment

  • Digital air fryer

Ingredients

  • 1 kilogram or 8 chicken wings
  • 1 teaspoon minced black pepper
  • 3 minced garlic cloves
  • 2 tablespoons salt
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil or cooking spray
  • 1 cup flour or cornstarch

Instructions

  • Thoroughly wash the chicken wings and place them in a large bowl.
  • Season the chicken wings with black pepper, minced garlic, salt, and optionally vinegar to allow the flavors to meld.
  • Coat the chicken wings with flour or cornstarch, ensuring to shake off any excess flour, then give them a light spray with oil.
  • Place the chicken wings into the air fryer basket at 400ºF (204ºC) for 20 minutes. Avoid overcrowding the basket; a single layer is best. If needed, prepare the wings in batches.
  • Serve your air fryer chicken wings with cornstarch or flour with your choice of sauce. Add some French fries or a salad to complete your meal.
