Air Fryer Turkey Breast:
While my go-to for hosting a large Thanksgiving feast has been the Dry Brine Turkey, I’ve discovered the ease and convenience of preparing a smaller turkey breast using this air fryer recipe. This method has been my trusty go-to for a few years now, offering the fastest and simplest way to cook up a delicious turkey breast.
What To Serve It With
Serve this delectable turkey breast alongside homemade stuffing, Baked Sweet Potatoes, and my favorite Cranberry Sauce for a wholesome and satisfying turkey dinner experience.
My enthusiasm for the air fryer is evident, and I’ve shared numerous air fryer recipes over time. Recently, a friend inquired about preparing turkey breast using the air fryer, prompting me to rush to the store in search of a suitable breast size that would fit snugly into the basket. Procuring a 4-pound bone-in breast, which is fairly average in size, proved to be an effortless task.
Helpful Tips:
- For a 4 to 5-pound breast, ensure it comfortably fits within a 5-quart or larger air fryer. Before commencing, confirm that the height of the meat sits below the top of the basket.
- Cooking time will fluctuate based on the breast’s size. To guarantee perfect cooking, I recommend using an Instant read thermometer to check the internal temperature.
- If your breast is frozen, allow it to thaw overnight in the refrigerator for optimal results.

How To Carve a Turkey Breast
- After cooking, allow the breast to rest on a carving board, tented loosely with foil for at least 15 minutes, allowing the flavorful juices to redistribute.
- Using a large, sharp knife, glide the blade along the breastbone with long, even strokes. Alternatively, if using a serrated knife, employ a gentle sawing motion.
- Follow the bone’s path all the way to the bottom of the board.
- Gently maneuver the knife around to the front, connecting where the initial carving started at the top of the breastbone.
- Carve down the ribs, tracing around and down to connect to the bottom of the initial breastbone cut.
- Pull the meat away from the bone and slice. Repeat the same process on the other side.
Enjoy the succulent and beautifully cooked Air Fryer Turkey Breast, a testament to the ease and versatility of this cooking method, perfect for any day of the week.
